About this artwork
Utklippan is Sweden's south-easternmost outpost, two bare granite skerries, Norraskär and Södraskär, alone in the open Baltic off Karlskrona. Between them lies a small, famously sheltered guest harbour blasted into the rock of Norraskär, where yachts raft up on summer nights. On Södraskär stands the tall red lighthouse of 1870, more than thirty metres high, with the yellow houses of the keeper's station beside it, the last Swedish landfall before the open sea toward Bornholm.
Every Jason D’s Vision image is an AI-generated artistic interpretation of a real place — original artwork, not a photograph. The label bar on the download may show a creative daylight scenario; that is artistic staging, not a record of a real event.
