About this artwork
Deep in the forest north of Olofström, the Mörrumsån river turns the wheels of Ebbamåla Bruk, one of Sweden's best-preserved small industrial landscapes. A hand-moulding foundry worked here from 1886 to 1967, and from the 1890s a little company town of industry grew around it: a carbon-black factory, a starch factory, a wood-wool factory and a hydro power station that still generates electricity from the river. The foundry, the workers' houses and the machine halls survive as a listed industrial monument, revived each summer with tours and iron-casting nights.
Every Jason D’s Vision image is an AI-generated artistic interpretation of a real place — original artwork, not a photograph. The label bar on the download may show a creative daylight scenario; that is artistic staging, not a record of a real event.
