About this artwork

At Skekarsbo in Färnebofjärden National Park, a 20-metre observation tower built in 1995 rises above the shore and offers a panoramic view over the major part of the park. Below it the Dalälven spreads out into the wide bay of Färnebofjärden, one of a succession of broad fjärdar the river floods each spring, dotted with many of the park's more than 200 islands. The park, established in 1998 as Sweden's 26th national park, sits where northern and southern species meet, and over 200 bird species have been recorded here. The green-marked Skekarsboslingan loop trail passes the tower on its way through old forest to a shore shelter at Brättnäset.

Every Jason D’s Vision image is an AI-generated artistic interpretation of a real place — original artwork, not a photograph. The label bar on the download may show a creative daylight scenario; that is artistic staging, not a record of a real event.
