About this artwork
The Bökebackeslingan is a 600-metre circular path of fine gravel through Dalby Söderskog National Park, made accessible for wheelchairs and prams, with benches and tables along the way. Dalby Söderskog, protected in 1918, covers only 36 hectares and is Sweden's smallest national park — a fragment of the ancient deciduous forest that once covered Skåne, left largely untouched to develop freely. Very old beech, oak, ash and elm trees shade the path, dead and fallen trunks are left as habitat, and in late April and early May the floor is carpeted with white and yellow wood anemones and other spring flowers. An old earth bank, the Hästhagevallen, of still unknown origin rings parts of the wood.
Every Jason D’s Vision image is an AI-generated artistic interpretation of a real place — original artwork, not a photograph. The label bar on the download may show a creative daylight scenario; that is artistic staging, not a record of a real event.
