About this artwork
Muddus, or Muttos, in Jokkmokk municipality is Sweden's largest forest national park and part of the Laponia UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its best-known sight is the Muddusfallet waterfall, where the river falls 42 metres down a rock face into a deep gorge, reached by the marked trail from Skaite and seen from a viewing platform. The park's roadless old-growth forest holds pines of great age — Sweden's oldest pine, thought to be over 700 years old, stands in Muddus — among marshlands, bog lakes and ravines.
Every Jason D’s Vision image is an AI-generated artistic interpretation of a real place — original artwork, not a photograph. The label bar on the download may show a creative daylight scenario; that is artistic staging, not a record of a real event.
