Nyvallens fäbod is both the park's information point and an active mountain pasture, a traditional summer farm worked with goats and mountain cattle, where visitors can learn about the park, join guided tours and try traditional food. Several of the park's marked hiking trails start from Nyvallen, beside a car park and a rest area with a fire pit. This scene is the pasture and entrance itself, at farm level among its meadows and forest edge.
