About this artwork

Teleborg Castle stands in a park by Lake Trummen, four to five kilometres south of Växjö's centre, beside the Linnaeus University campus. Despite its medieval air, the castle was built in 1900, to designs by the architects Lindvall & Boklund, as a wedding present from Count Fredrik Bonde af Björnö to his wife Anna Koskull. Its playful brick-and-granite masonry, turrets and sweeping staircases make it a fairy-tale Rhine-style castle in the Småland woods. After the couple's deaths it served as a girls' school and lodgings; Växjö bought it in 1964, and today it is a well-known wedding, conference and hotel venue, regarded as one of Sweden's best-preserved castles of its period.

Every Jason D’s Vision image is an AI-generated artistic interpretation of a real place — original artwork, not a photograph. The label bar on the download may show a creative daylight scenario; that is artistic staging, not a record of a real event.
