About this artwork

Gunnebo House in Mölndal was designed in the 1780s by Gothenburg's city architect Carl Wilhelm Carlberg as a summer residence for the merchant John Hall, and the house was inaugurated in 1796. House, gardens and even the smallest details were designed as one whole, and more than 200 of Carlberg's original drawings survive to guide today's restorations. A strong main axis runs through the house to the north and south: the southern formal garden descends through a flower parterre and boskets to a sunken grass boulingrin and a pond with a fountain, enclosed by lime avenues dating from the 18th century. The estate, set between the lakes Stensjön and Rådasjön, is one of Sweden's most complete 18th-century estates.

Every Jason D’s Vision image is an AI-generated artistic interpretation of a real place — original artwork, not a photograph. The label bar on the download may show a creative daylight scenario; that is artistic staging, not a record of a real event.
